The Movement That Comes With the End of the Year

Every time the end of the year approaches, something moves within us.

Sometimes worries arise, comparisons, feelings of not having measured up, thoughts like “I didn’t achieve this,” “I didn’t complete that,” whether in work, family, or emotional and personal goals.

That movement is internal, but also external.

And we can approach it in a fluid, healthy way that brings us well-being—or from pressure, self-demand, self-punishment, or even from quick dismissal: “Well, next year will be better.”

The Tendency to Measure Ourselves in Success or Failure

Human beings tend to generalize and label our processes as successes or failures. We also tend to think that our paths are linear, that we should always be ascending. It’s hard for us to observe ourselves clearly, with kindness and benevolence toward ourselves, in all areas of life.

Many times we focus only on one area and, if that one didn’t turn out as expected, we become sad or discouraged, forgetting to see that in other areas there was movement, learning, improvement, or beneficial change.

Closing Cycles with Love

That’s why we want to open this space for reflection and ask ourselves:

What does it mean to close cycles? What does it mean to treat myself with love? How can I look at the full map of everything I lived this year?

The invitation is to try not to view life only through the lens of success or failure. In these reflections, questions arise, answers appear, and sometimes only sensations. We want to stay with the sensations and thoughts that build and nourish—not the ones that tear us down.

A Year as a Space for Learning

A year of life—365 days that are coming to an end—is a space full of possibilities. Within those possibilities, in a healthy way, we create goals, projects, and intentions. But also, in a healthy way, it is necessary to review what worked and what didn’t, so these days become learning.

It’s not about passing or failing our life through numbers or statistics—it’s about having a conversation with the person who walked through this year, who achieved some things and not others, and asking ourselves:

What do I need to let go of?

What do I need to change?

What do I need to work on?

And what do I need to release once and for all?

Projecting Without Destroying Ourselves

This final month invites us to reflect in a way that allows us to project 2026 not from pressure, but from continuous learning. That our goals, intentions, and projects be supported by a vision of integral growth: in consciousness, spirit, work, family, love, and expansion.

We don’t need to destroy ourselves in the process. It’s important to be kind to ourselves—to work when needed, but also to rest, to play, and to tend to our spirituality.

The Heart as a Measure

More than thinking only about what I did or didn’t do, what I achieved or didn’t achieve, we can ask ourselves:

How was I in the situations I went through?

How was my heart?

Was I able to sustain those moments?

Was I able to let go when needed, or did I cling to something with no future?

Am I still in relationships that don’t bring me well-being, or was I able to create healthier, more loving ways of relating?

Did I give myself time—to grow, to connect with my body, my heart, and my mind—or was I only producing?

Cycles, Nature, and Rhythm

Evaluating the year from a kind and conscious place allows us to project knowing that not everything is under our control. The universe moves in its own way too.

This end of the year also aligns with a change of cycles: winter in the north, summer in the south. Nature shows us rhythms, pauses, and expansions. Learning to flow with these cycles helps us understand that it’s not always time for action—sometimes calm is action.

Being Available

So, what is left for us as human beings?

To be available.

To open our hearts. To listen deeply.

To be wise when making decisions, tending to our relationships, giving ourselves what we need, and contributing to our communities.

Being loving with ourselves throughout our learning process revitalizes life—it makes it more harmonious, more magical, more full of wonder and possibility.

The fusion of Sound Healing with holistic practices: a doorway to transformative experiences

Today we want to share the transformative experiences we’ve created through the immersion of sound combined with other holistic practices. Our purpose is to cultivate spaces where healing is lived in a profound, collective and conscious way.

We deeply believe that sound —as medicine and therapy— can regulate the nervous system, balance emotions and harmonize the energetic body. At the same time, we recognize the powerful potential that emerges when Sound Healing meets disciplines that also work with energy, presence and healing intention.

Over the years, we have strengthened connections, created collaborations and shaped immersive spaces where participants are guided through a fusion in which no discipline stands above another. They blend and integrate to elevate the medicine and expand the possibilities of transformation. Because we believe in community, in the collective, and in the teachings that arise when we share.

Through Sound Healing, we’ve woven together practices such as Reiki, Yoga, Tai Chi and Breathwork. Thanks to this, we’ve not only created experiences in unique environments —water sessions, hammock sessions, at sea, at sunrise or sunset— but we’ve gone a step further: we’ve designed spaces where healing becomes transformation, and where the will of the being becomes the key that opens new layers of expansion.

Yoga: clarity, grounding and deep presence
When Tibetan bowls or gongs are integrated, vibration relaxes the muscles, deepens the breath and supports meditative states. Sound becomes a bridge toward a more present body and a calmer heart.

Breathwork: expanded breathing and emotional release
Sound accompanies the rhythm of breath, amplifying emotional openness and tranquility. It facilitates parasympathetic states and leads the body into a natural repair response.

Tai Chi and internal movement: energetic flow and body harmony
Sound offers a perceptible rhythm that merges with internal movement, softening blockages, enhancing qi circulation and bringing lightness to the body.

Reiki and energy therapies:channel opening and resistance dissolution
Sound vibration allows energy to flow with less friction. It opens subtle spaces, softens deep layers and amplifies the restorative action of Reiki.

Woman as the sustainer of life and the illness that calls us to reflect

Breast cancer touches us deeply because it affects not only the physical body but the woman as a whole being — the heart of the family, the foundation for children, grandchildren, and the entire network around her. When it affects a woman, it shakes and reshapes the entire family structure, inviting us to reflect on how our society supports, sustains, and cares for those who give life.

Early detection is essential. Self-examination, regular medical checkups, and body awareness are powerful tools for prevention. Yet, prevention does not depend solely on the woman — it requires access to resources, family support, and an environment that allows her to care for and love herself. Sometimes, something as simple as accompanying her to a medical appointment can make a significant difference in diagnosis and prognosis.

Every illness has multiple dimensions: physical, mental, emotional, and social. Breast cancer invites us to ask: how have we transformed what nourishes us into a channel where illness can also arise? The breasts, symbols of nurturing and care, sometimes become the place where life itself faces its vulnerability. This reflection opens questions about how we live, how we relate to our bodies and our surroundings, how we carry stress, unexpressed emotions, and inherited generational burdens.

Holistic Support and Women’s Vitality

In Mexico, more than 31,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each year, and around 8,200 deaths are recorded. The global five-year survival rate is approximately 72%, though it varies depending on the stage at diagnosis and access to adequate treatment. This highlights the importance of prevention and early detection, as well as comprehensive support that goes beyond medical treatment.

Oncological treatments — surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormone therapy — are essential, but medical attention is only one part of holistic care. Complementary therapies such as Sound Healing, music therapy, and other wellness practices help reduce anxiety, improve sleep, ease pain perception, and strengthen emotional connection with family and the surrounding environment.

It is fundamental to recognize the woman’s vitality throughout the entire process. Even while facing illness, she remains an active being, with her own desires and needs. Being able to choose physical activities she enjoys, practices that bring her pleasure, and dedicating time to what nourishes her joy and wellbeing are essential steps toward integral health. Joy and enjoyment strengthen mood, energy, and connection with the body, supporting each stage of the journey.

Supporting a woman is not only about providing medical care or complementary therapies; it is also about standing by her when treatment fails, when full recovery is not possible, and when life continues around her — children, grandchildren, parents, friends. This deeper kind of support allows her to feel that her life remains valuable, that her presence continues to hold others, and that her emotional and spiritual wellbeing are just as important as her physical treatment.

Breast cancer invites us to question our society: how do we value the women who give life, how do we share caregiving and responsibilities, and how do we enable women to live peacefully, connected with themselves and with nature? Prevention is not only physical — it is emotional, social, and daily. It involves family support, balance in responsibilities, awareness of personal rhythms, conscious nutrition, and the creation of wellbeing spaces that foster cellular regeneration and holistic health.

Sound, Vibration, and Emotional Support

Rethinking illness from a holistic perspective allows us to learn from it and to accompany women at every stage — prevention, treatment, recovery, or final transition. Sound Healing serves as deep, non-curative support that helps reconnect with breathing, the body, and the emotions that emerge throughout these processes.

Hay muchas formas de criar, pero hay una que empieza escuchando.
Escuchando al otro, sí. Pero también a un@ mism@.
A ese instinto que a veces susurra bajito, pero sabe.
Porque criar no es moldear.
Es sostener.
Es dar espacio para que el otro sea.

La semilla del respeto

La crianza respetuosa no es una técnica nueva, ni una moda pasajera.
Es, en realidad, una forma de volver a lo esencial.
De mirar a las infancias con la dignidad que merecen.
No como seres que “todavía no son”, sino como personas completas, sensibles, únicas.

Criar con respeto es confiar.
Confiar en que no hay que apurar procesos, que el llanto no es manipulación,
que el juego también educa.
Es mirar sin juicio, contener sin reprimir, y acompañar sin imponer.

La vibración también cría

El sonido, en su forma más pura, también es una forma de crianza.
Una vibración que envuelve, que calma, que guía sin forzar.
¿Acaso no es eso lo que hacemos al criar?
Ofrecer una frecuencia amorosa, constante, desde la cual el otro pueda explorar el mundo.

El océano vibra

Más que agua en movimiento, el océano es un ser vivo que se expresa a través del sonido. En sus profundidades, donde la luz no alcanza, las vibraciones son el lenguaje que une, guía y sostiene la vida marina. Desde cantos de ballenas hasta el crujido de los hielos, cada frecuencia compone un paisaje sonoro vital, que no solo afecta a los habitantes del mar, sino también a quienes lo contemplamos desde la orilla. Este texto es una invitación a escuchar y honrar ese tejido vibracional que conecta a todos los seres del planeta.

Cuando pensamos, sentimos o simplemente contemplamos el océano —ese vasto cuerpo azul que respira con el pulso del planeta— apenas rozamos la superficie de su misterio. El océano no solo es agua: es un ser vivo, un organismo inmenso que vibra, canta y se comunica. En sus profundidades, donde la luz apenas llega, el sonido es la lengua madre.

Allí abajo, el sonido viaja mucho más rápido y lejos que en el aire —aproximadamente cuatro veces más rápido—, haciendo del océano un vasto tejido acústico, un paisaje sonoro continuo que conecta a criaturas separadas por cientos de kilómetros. Esta cualidad ha convertido al océano en uno de los medios más eficientes para la comunicación natural en el planeta.

Las ballenas azules, por ejemplo, emiten cantos de baja frecuencia que pueden recorrer enormes distancias, actuando como hilos invisibles que unen individuos a través del azul. Los cachalotes, con chasquidos que pueden alcanzar los 230 decibelios, utilizan el sonido para ubicarse y cazar en la oscuridad. Delfines, peces, calamares y hasta pequeños camarones pistola generan vibraciones para comunicarse, marcar territorio o simplemente hacerse presentes.

Este entramado vibracional no es solo fascinante: es vital. Lo que hoy se llama paisaje sonoro marino —compuesto por sonidos biológicos (como los cantos de ballenas o los gruñidos de peces), abióticos (olas, tormentas, hielos quebrándose) y antropogénicos (como motores y sonares)— es esencial para la supervivencia y el equilibrio de la vida marina. Cuando este equilibrio se rompe, por ejemplo con el ruido constante de los barcos o las exploraciones sísmicas, se altera profundamente la capacidad de las especies para comunicarse, reproducirse y orientarse.

Pero el océano no solo sostiene la vida que lo habita: también actúa sobre nosotros. Se ha demostrado que la exposición a los sonidos del mar —el romper de las olas, el vaivén del agua, el murmullo del viento sobre la superficie— disminuye los niveles de cortisol, reduce la ansiedad y activa estados de relajación profunda. En el campo del Sound Healing, el agua es vista como un conductor de vibración que responde sensiblemente a las frecuencias sonoras, reestructurando incluso su forma molecular frente a ciertos tonos y armonías. Si nuestro cuerpo es mayoritariamente agua, podemos intuir cuán profundamente nos afectan estos sonidos.

Además, desde muchas cosmovisiones originarias y perspectivas energéticas, el océano no es solo un hábitat: es un portal de limpieza, un ecualizador planetario. Las aguas saladas —movidas por la luna, cargadas de minerales y vida— actúan como un gran canal de transmutación energética. Bañarse en el mar, escuchar su voz, ofrendarle nuestros rezos y cantos, son formas antiguas y poderosas de alinearnos con los ritmos profundos de la Tierra.

Por eso, cuidar el océano no es solo un gesto ecológico: es un acto de reciprocidad. No protegemos solamente a los corales, a los peces o a las ballenas; nos protegemos a nosotros mismos, a nuestra salud, a nuestro equilibrio físico, mental y espiritual. Intervenir el océano de forma violenta —a través de la contaminación, la pesca industrial, el ruido excesivo— interrumpe los delicados hilos sonoros que sostienen la vida.

El Día del Cuidado de los Océanos nos invita a escuchar. Escuchar no solo con los oídos, sino con el corazón. A reconocer que somos agua, que estamos hechos del mismo pulso que recorre las profundidades. A entender que en cada vibración marina hay una sabiduría ancestral, y que el océano, cuando se le permite, canta la canción de la vida.
